A cast copper alloy cup like object which is possibly a plume holder from Post Medieval to Modern horse harness. The cup is circular in plan with sloping sides and a turned out rim. On the base of the object within the cub is a lump of iron corrosion which obscures a rivet and a white adhering substance. The sides are decorated on the outside with an incised line just below the rim and two above the base of the object.
