A silver Roman republican denarius of L. Titurius L.f. Sabinus, dating to the year 89 BC (Reece Period 1). Reverse type depicting two Roman soldiers, each carrying a woman. Mint of Rome. The coin has been chipped at 8 o'clock on the obverse. The die has been struck slightly off flan on both faces thus obscuring some of the legend. Comparable examples can be seen at SF-C99F2D and FAPJW-1D45E5. Overall dimensions: 19.53mm in diameter, 1.86mm in thickness and 3.47g in weight.
