A lead alloy disc, probably a wheel from a pastry jigger of probable post medieval date (1600-1800). The disc is relatively circular in plan and rectangular in cross section. The external edge has opposing interlocking triangular wedge shaped removals creating a zig-zag pattern. An irregular circular hole is positioned off centre (diameter: 3.4mm) and the surface of both sides are marked with small nick or cut marks. A lead alloy object, possibly a weight, toy or maybe metal working debris. The object is an irregular disc which is fairly flat on both faces and has damaged edges. There are faint traces of incised lines on the edge which may have been a zigzag like a pastry jigger. Thee are deep scratches and damage on both faces. Near the centre of each face is a deep hole but they do not appear to join to perforate the plate. However, the object could have rotated on prongs resting in the hole and may be a wheel from a toy. Uni-faced cast lead token or possibly a weight of probable later medieval or post-medieval date (1300-1800). The token / weight is broadly circular in plan. The upper face of the token is decorated with a series of incised patterns incised using rocker-arm techniques or possibly using a tool which creates a zig zag pattern (similar to a pastry jigger). A cast lead alloy unifaced disc with a series of cast holes; in plan the disc represents a relatively crude wheel. The date of the artefact is unknown, however from the casting techniques a later medieval - modern date is suggested (1350 - 1800). The front face is decorated with a cast design; this consists of a central raised boss from which eight irregular spokes extend conjoining with the outer rim of the disc.
