A Post-Medieval copper-alloy Nuremberg jetton, dating to AD 1600-1700. Description: The jetton is circular in plan and in a good condition. The token is a mid-green in colour. Obverse: The bust of Mercury, facing right, within a fleur-de-lys and pellets border. Reverse: An imperial orb within a trefoil tressure, bordered by rosettes. An incomplete cast copper-alloy large key bit, probably from a London Type VI key, probably dating to c.AD 1300-1500. A slightly hexagonaly faceted hollow (5.4mm i/d) stem with an integral sub-rectangular bit. The bit has a large vertical, central ward-cut and two  rectangular clefts on both the front and rear. An incomplete Medieval silver plated contemporary forgery of a groat of probably Edward III (1327-77) dating to c.1351-77. A copper-alloy core is visible with traces of a green patina and the obverse appears to be of billon and is illegible. The reverse is slightly better quality silver and is marked as mint of London. Diameter 26.5mm, thickness 0.8mm, weight 2g.

A probably Post Medieval cast lead anthropomorphic weight in the form of a human face. Sub-oval in plan and flattened hemispherical in form. The face is relief moulded with  a raised brow, oval eyes and a protruding nose. The mouth is only partially visible due to probable post depositional damage to the chin. The reverse has similar scuff damage but is otherwise plain and flat. The surface displays a light buff / grey colour. A Post Medieval cast copper-alloy strap loop / belt slide probably dating to c.1650-1850. Rectangular in plan and flattened, elongated U-shaped in profile. The sides are slightly splayed with the remains of iron attachments in the centre. The face is decorated with a pellet formed centreline and four symmetrical curved line panels either side. The surface displays a patchy green patina. Probably horse harness related. A short piece of D-shaped cross-section leg rises from the foot and terminates in an old break. The surface is quite rough and displays a pale green patina.
