Edge-eroded copper alloy Iron Age so-called Thurrock type potin of the Cantiaci, Kent. Cast in high relief (greatest thickness 4mm), one side has an irresolvable prominent moulded shape along its centre, surely a miscast head of Apollo, and the other face has an exergue line surmounted by a bull butting right with a raised foreleg. Above the bull's head is a series of intersecting straight chevron lines, the last of which is crossed and resembles the letter A.
