A complete lead / lead alloy spindle whorl probably dating to the medieval period (c.AD 1200-1500). The object has a shallow biconical shape with a large central perforation measuring 8.6mm in diameter. Both faces present a raised decoration that consists of a double circumferential bordered edge and a circumferential edge around centre. Between the inne out and outer border lines are raised triangles that radiate from with the centre. Within each triangle and the space between is a single pellet. The object has a dark gre patina.
