A small rim sherd of post-medieval pottery, probably 16th -18th century. The pot would have been made on a wheel and the interior of the pot has been glazed with a shiny black glaze. The rim is flat and below the rim there is a carination which juts out from the main body of the vessel. Otherwise the body of the pot is very thin. The clay has grot tempering.
