A lead complete possible Viking gaming piece. It is oval in cross-section, with a copper-alloy rod in the centre, it has a flat, mis-shapen base. It tapers towards its upper terminal end. A similar, solid, possible gaming piece has been found at Long Melford, Suffolk see SF-C01997, Little Wilbraham, Cambridgehsire see SF-50B784, and two hollow very simliar examples have also been found at Little Wilbraham, Cambridgeshire, see SF-6F5256 and SF-6F7361.   A lead alloy object, possibly a gaming piece, counter or small weight, of Roman to Medieval date. The object is circular, with vertical sides slightly bowed out in the middle, and a flat base. The edge of the base and top are rounded. In the top is a depression in the centre. These are sometimes seen on early medieval pieces with coloured stones inserted in the top, as found at Torksey. They have been also been found at the Viking winter camp of AD 872-3 at Torksey (Hadley and Richards 2016, fig. 26) and are dated to the early medieval period. It is unusual to have so many upstands, although YORYM-0DD735 has seven of a different shape, and YORYM-2306D4 again has seven upstands but the body is deeper. KENT-009CF4 has six knops, and it may be that the number of projections was part of the game.
