A complete Post Medieval, copper alloy cuff link or cuff button dating from AD 1740-1786. Each fastener is circular in plan with a rope twist border. The cuff link probably depicts Frederick the Great on horseback left holding a batton his left hand and horses reins in his right. The rear of the two fasteners is undecorated. They have an integral looped shank and are joined by a drawn wire link. A complete silver Post Medieval cufflink dating to the period AD 1750-1800. The cuff link comprises two flat, slightly domed, discs joined by an off-centred circular-sectioned bar. The outer face of one disc is decorated with a stamped flower consisting of four petals around a central cross-hatched circle. Each petal contains an arched groove, and between each petal is another groove defining back petals. The opposite face of the second disc is plain. The cufflink measures 6.8mm in height. Each disc is 13.8mm diameter and 1.2mm thick. The object weighs 2.70 grams.

An incomplete pewter cufflink of post medieval date, c. AD 1650 - 1700. Lewis form 1, type A. Only one disc remains which is circular with a stamped design of a crown above two hearts. This cuff link has one complete octagonal cuff link, a complete connecting wire link, a portion of the second cuff link attached, and part of the second octagonal plate. An incomplete Post Medieval-Modern copper alloy cuff link, c.AD 1700-1900. This cuff link consists of a flat, oval plate with a small attachment loop in the centre of the reverse face. There is an oval link which holds this to the other attachment loop, which is missing its oval plate. The cuff link is heavily worn and has no clear design on the obverse face. There is a dark green patina on all faces of this item.

Post Medieval mademade copper alloy cuff link, c.AD 1700-1800. This is a copper alloy version of a common silver cuff link made at the same time. The central plate of the cuff link is shaped as an octagon, with deep down-turned walls. On the obverse face is an incised flower design of six three-lobed petals surrounding a circular and cross-hatched centre. The reverse has a central wire attachment loop. For a similar example, see SUSS-955FA8 and KENT-505086.

A later Post-Medieval silver stud cuff link, c.AD 1720-1800. The octagonal button has down turned edges and is decorated with an incised Tudor rose comprised of two quatrefoil flowers which overlay each other and are offset. The centre of the flower is a small circle. The margin of the button has a border of incised curved lines creating cusps to each of the eight flat edges. A silver button from a set of Royal Navy cuff-links dating to c.1757-74. Octagonal slightly domed body with a rose engraved in the centre. The rose has four main petals with smaller ones in-between and a hatched circle in the centre. The perimeter has an incised line octagonal border. The reverse is slightly dished / concave, with a central soldered circular silver loop. Width 14.1mm, total thickness including loop 4.7mm, weight 1g. A post medieval silver cufflink button, 13.6mm in diameter, which is stamped with left facing conjugate busts of a king and queen, probably William III (to the rear) and Queen Mary (in front). The button has a down-turned rim. The reverse has a soldered silver wire loop shank to which is attached a silver wire loop, 13.4mm in length; this demonstrates wear at both ends. The other button has been lost.

A Post Medieval cast pewter cufflink button of 'Crown and Heart' type dating c.AD 1662-1700. The button has a circular head with bevelled rim, approximately half of which is damaged. The face is decorated in relief with a die-stamped design of a crown above two hearts (Lewis 2013, Type A). The reverse is undecorated and has the scar of the attachment loop at the centre. The patina is dark grey in colour. The cufflink measures 14.8mm diameter, 1.6mm thick and weighs 1.2 grams.
