An incomplete Post Medieval to Modern copper alloy crotal bell dating to AD 1755 - 1798. Just over half the original bell survives, it having broken roughly along its longitudinal middle line at any early date.  This example is extremely large, being spherical in plan and shows an integrally cast suspension loop at its apex. The upper hemisphere of the bell shows one remaining sounding hole. A sub conical cast lead object with a sub-rectangular base tapering slightly to the apex which is pierced to take a suspension loop. It is probably a weight, dating from the Medieval or Post Medieval periods, AD 1100 - 1800. The object is shaped like a cow-bell. Length: 17.06mm Height: 23.91mm Width: 14.28mm Weight: 27.63g The mass is probably intended to be one ounce in the Mercantile or Avoirdupois measurement systems (Egan, 1998, page 302).

A solid cast lead alloy toy bull, naturalistically modelled, dating to c. AD 1850 -  1900. There is no trace of paint, the toy is complete but the legs are bent under the body. The cow has a bell around its neck. British manufactures such as Hornby or Brittons tended to make hollow cast animals in 32 scale, so this is probably a foreign import. Length 38 mm, height 19 mm, thickness 7 mm and weight 23.4 g.

Small cast cu-alloy vessel fragment, probably the upper part of a bell, dating from the late post-medieval or modern period. The surface is corroded and the vessel's original colour and decoration are now indeterminable. It might be the upper part of a bell because of the thinly cast, heavily tinned cu-alloy and also, the hole which is in the centre of the top of the object. This would have been the hole though which the clapper was inserted from the inside. The clapper is now missing. The object could have been a sheep, goat's or small cow bell.

A copper alloy conical-shaped clapper bell with a suspension loop. The suspension loop is 10mm in length and 11mm wide and has a circular impression in the centre of its flat top. Beneath the suspension loop are three tranverse grooves. The lower part of one side of the bell is missing, it is therefore incomplete. The inside of the bell contains a corroded metal deposit, within which the clapper may survive.
