Unidentified object fragment. Brown copper alloy with gilding. The illustrator's database index describes this as 'Fragment of a harness mount with traces of gilding, ending in an animals head'. To this reporter [MF] the illustration - though not the dimensions - resembles the head plate of a small long brooch, especilly when compared with other illustrations of these in the same style.
