An incomplete late Iron Age to Early Roman copper-alloy birdlip brooch, dating to c. 50 BC - AD 60. The pin, lower bow and catch plate are missing. The oval head is decorated with a chevron, formed of two moulded lines, to the rear a cylindrical bar houses the spring pin and a fragment of the pin, the rest of the pin is missing. The oval head constricts, then expands into a globular knop which is undecorated. An hour glass shaped knop sits below, at the front is a small vulvate mount. A late Iron Age to early Roman copper-alloy mount, dating to c. 200 BC - AD 100. The main body of the mount is pelta shaped with two intgral leaf-shaped projections below, one of these is incomplete. The front of the mount is decorated with five recessed cells filled with red enamel. On each leaf is a single circular cell. On the pelta are three semi-circular cells, one towards the top of the mount and one at each side. The mount is further decorated with incised lines. The rear of the mount is undecorated. A complete Iron Age to Roman 'dumbell' toggle dating to circa 100 BC -200 AD. The toggle consists of a central bar with semi-circular end terminals. The object has a dark brown well developed smooth patina. The object has suffered some damage on one of the end terminals. There are many parallels recorded on the PAS database including; SF-E965AE discovered in Suffolk, SF-78B91D also discovered in Suffolk has a shorter central bar.
