A complete lead hem / curtain weight dating to the Post Medieval period (c.AD 1700-1900) The weight is flat and circular. Two small perforation holes are positioned just off the centre. The object has a dark cream patina. There are several incised lines on one side of the weight, and there is a short groove on the other side where the weight appears to have been scraped by a tool or plough and the lead is visible.  Dimensions: Diameter: 33.6mm Thickness: 3.8mm Weight: 26.8g

A post-Medieval lead bullet. It is potentially 18th century in date. This is because it weighs 5.63g, which is roughly 81 bore. This would likely mean this is the bullet from a miniature pistol, potentially one meant for the use by women at close range. There do not seem to be any striations, and a small flatter section may simply have been the location of a sprue from casting rather than necessarily being evidence of firing damage.
