A hammered silver sixpence of Elizabeth I (1558-1603). The coin is from the 3rd and 4th issue and is dated 1563, that in turn is supported by the mint mark of a pheon to both sides. The obverse has the portrait bust facing left with a rose in the field behind the head. The reverse has the square-topped shield on long cross fourchée with date above. The coin is in fair condition being struck slightly off centre, heavily worn and a lightly buckled, with limited clipping to the rim.

This is a hammered silver half groat of Elizabeth I (1558-1603). This coin is from the sixth issue 1582-1600. The obverse has the crowned bust left with two pellets behind the head. The reverse shows the square top shield on long cross fourchée and has the crescent mint mark (72b). The coin is in poor condition and slightly buckled, it has also been clipped.
