A complete silver buckle likely dating from the Victorian to Modern period (c. 1860-1940) The object is an oval buckle with an integral spindle. The buckle is decorated with a pressed pattern. There is a pellet border on the outer edge. Eight triangles are evenly spaced around the outside, and point in towards the centre. Swirling patterns are present between every other triangle. Complete Post Medieval-Modern copper alloy uniform button, c.AD 1825. This is a navy uniform button, consisting of a domed top plate and wire loop. The obverse face is decorated with a wreath on a lined background, surrounding a raised circular belt with buckle that is inscribed with ROYAL MARINE ARTILLERY. In the centre is a fouled anchor with the rope tied to the ring at the top, running under the left-hand stock, then under the shank to the right, under the shank to the left and then under the left arm. A grenade is on either side of the shank. Kindly identified by the finder.

Modern cast copper alloy buckle, c.AD 1900-1950. This is a worn buckle with a rectangular frame, with a wide, thin central bar that has a sub-rectangular opening running through it. The pin is comprised of a double-spur pin curled around one side of the frame. On the opposite side the makers' name has been stamped, although it is too worn to make out.

An incomplete Modern cast copper alloy shoe buckle, c.AD 1837-1900. This buckle is sub rectangular in section with bevelled edges; the prongs of the chape have broken off. The handle of the chape has the words "IMPROVED V R" stamped into it, with a crown between V and R that suggests it was made during Victoria's reign.

Post Medieval-Modern cast copper alloy strap fitting, c.AD 1700-1900. This object consists of a single hoop, D-shaped in section, with two recessed sections opposite each other where straps would sit. The main parts of the hoop were cast with ribbed decoration, as if wrapped by rope. There are no makers marks, no any signs of a crossbar (which would be typical in a buckle).

A complete cast copper alloy buckle ​​​​​​dating from the modern period (c. 1800-1900). A double looped rectangular frame with a slightly off centred bar. The buckle frame and central bar survive. The frame is D-shaped in cross section, while the central bar is more angled, almost V-shaped in cross section. The outer vertical bars of the frame are markedly thicker than the horizontal bars. The buckle is slightly angled, possibly to better facilitate its use. Measurements: 26.3mm length, 24.9mm width, 2.9mm thickness, weight 5.90g.
