Copper alloy coin. Nummus of House of Constantine (306-361), Beata Tranquillitas issue of 321-323, Reece period 16. Pierced with a drilled hole of diameter 2.5mm at 6 O'clock obverse. This issue was preferred for piercing for inclusion in Anglo-Saxon grave groups, and an Anglo-Saxon brooch fragment is reported from the same location.
Obverse description: Head probably laureate right.
Reverse description: Globe on altar
Reverse inscription: [BEATA TRANQVILLITAS], continuous status of legend indeterminate.
