An incomplete, copper alloy Roman brooch potentially of the Hod Hill type (c.AD 43-70). The axis bar, part of the left wing, part of the bow, most of the catch plate, the foot, and the pin are all missing. The wings of the brooch are seemingly made from two rectangular sheets of copper alloy material, separated by a sub-rectangular slot at the apex of the head to accommodate the pin.
