An incomplete Roman copper-alloy continental plate brooch, dating to c.AD 80 BC - 250. The brooch appears to have originally been trefoil shaped in plan, one of the lobes is missing. Each lobe is decorated with a convex circular boss. At the top of the brooch is a drop shaped protrusion which to the rear houses the lug to support the now missing pin. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy buckle, dating to c.AD 300 - 410. Half of the buckle frame remains. Hawkes and Dunning Type IIA. The remaining fragment is C shaped in plan and semi-circular in section, it is formed of a dolphin with a gaping jaw. A large ring and dot motif forms the eve and a large fin covers the dolphins back. It has a spherical head on the top of which is a slightly raised rectangle of metal (possibly representing a poppy seed head).  Beneath the head is a groove, then a reel moulding with concave sides. Another groove marks the start of a band of oblique incised lines. This pattern of groove, reel, oblique lines, groove is repeated and finally there is another groove before the plain shaft tapers.  The lower part of the shaft, is missing.
