Roman (AD c. 50-400) Initial T-shaped brooch (Mackreth 2011, Chap 3, Part 4, The Hinged Pin, Type 5k Plate 58); The copper-alloy brooch has a cylindrical crossbar which has a central slot on the reverse to allow the pin to be hinged. The axis bar is within the wings and has a fragment of the pin hinged to the axis bar. The wings are undecorated. The bow is hump-like and undecorated. Roman, copper alloy brooch of 'Polden Hill' type, first century AD. Traces of silvering on surfaces, bow truncated but bore two longitudianal grooves. The underside of the wings is hollow to accomodate a coiled spring secured by an axial pin held in perforated plates at the ends of the wings. Each of the wings bears two transverse mouldings flanked by narrow grooves and a deeper, wide groove. The mouldings bear incised, transverse lines. Length 16.0mm, Width 23.8mm, Height 8.0mm, Mass 3.79g.

Roman, copper alloy brooch of 'head stud' type, second century AD. Corrosion makes description of the bow difficult but it appears to consist of a longitudinal rib flanked by two rows of pellets. An incomplete cast copper-alloy pin probably dating to the Roman period, c. 43-410 AD. Only the head survives, which is anthropomorphic in nature, depicting a human face looking outwards with moulded hair and facial features. The length is 13mm, the width is 11mm and the weight 2.30g. No parallel could be found for this object, though it seems to perhaps belong to Cool group 18 (pins with anthropomorphic heads) (1991).

A complete lead or lead alloy steelyard weight, of probable Roman dating (1st to 2nd Century AD) though could be of later dating (2nd Century to 19th Century AD). The weight is conical in shape. Evidence of a small vertical suspension hole is apparent in the centre of the weight, though this is now infilled with soil.
