Lower to middle Palaeolithic flint flaked flake. 58mm in length, 35mm wide and 17mm thick with a weight of 39grams. The flake is sub rectangular in form with a light greyish cream opaque patina. The object is flaked on the ventral face similar to Kombewa flakes, with a central parallel ridge on the dorsal face. It is hinge fractured at the distal end, has a large plain butt. Hard hammer struck, probably dating to the Middle Palaeolithic.

The flake is large and thick with a wide thick dihedral butt. The striking platform possesses some abrasion and the dorsal face is flattish but does possess some flake scarring. The retouch is positioned on the straight distal end of the flake. The ventral face displays a large bulb of percussion and bulbar scar. More likely to be either Middle Palaeolithic or Neolithic.
