Later Palaeolithic flint backed blade.
Light blue opaque patina. Secondary blade, hard-hammer-struck, dihedral butt. The flake has a curved profile but the right side is straight-backed with semi-abrupt, short, scaler retouch. Distal end retouched (abrupt, short) as well as a small concave area on the left edge.

Palaeolithic (Lower) to Bronze Age (Later) retouched blade, 66mm long, 28mm wide, 15mm thick and 22.8g in weight. Made on a light grey opaque patinated flint/chert from a unidirectional core. The right lateral edge has received a small amount of semi-abrupt retouch on the ventral face. The butt shattered upon striking however it appears to have been perhaps facetted.
