A modern silver ferrule of the 19th century. The object consists of groups of five strands of silver wire interwoven to create a hollow cylinder that tapers from one open end to the other. The entire object is broadly out of shape. The narrower end is particularly compressed while the opposite end is oval.
Several similar objects are recorded on the Portable Antiquities Sceme database, all of which have been identified as 19th century ferrules. These include BUC-593765, DENO-F7EC2C and KENT-A512A4.

A complete silver Sixpence probably of George II (AD 1727-1760). Cruciform shield reverse, London mint.
This coin has lost the majority of its original detail due to smoothing or polishing with the obverse being countermarked or stamped with the initials SC followed by the initial TW within a rectangular boarder. Rotated at 180 degrees are the initials T[R? or H?] The reverse has the number 1 stamped off centre.
The coin has further been modified by being bent into an S shape as with love tokens of the period.

A complete copper alloy Stud of Modern date (AD 1800-1900). The object is circular in plan with a convex upper and flat lower surface. There is a central circular boss in the upper surface with a raided central portion which steps down to the outer portion. The raised inner portion is decorated with an engraved foliate design which retains some gilding. The outer portion is decorated with raised “W” shaped cells with light blue enamel filling the remained of the surface. The lower surface is undecorated and retains two stud attachment spurs with expanded lower terminals.

The button's surface has been silvered and bears a raised prominent design of a pair of Game birds (either Grouse or Partridge) one standing facing left, the other laying on its side. A complete copper alloy Sporting / Hunt Livery button, probably dating from the early Modern period c.AD 1800 - 1851. The button's front has a raised, prominent design in relief within a circle, of a horses head. Below this is a small image of a Fox's Mask. Two branches of Laurel extend upwards either side of the head towards the top, where there is another small figure of a horse galloping right.

A three piece Sporting / Shooting Livery button, probably dating from the early Modern period c.AD 1800 - 1850. The front of the button depicts a pair of Black Grouse, the male called a Blackcock (with distinctive forked shaped tail) and the female a Greyhen.

A copper alloy two piece Sporting button probably from a Racing / or Stud Farm origin, dating from the Modern date c.AD 1800 - 1850. Forty-five copper-alloy die stamped buttons from a Modern date c:- AD 1850 - 1935. Averaging 17mm in diameter, with an impressed central boss, 42 are perforated by four sewing holes and 3 by two holes. 36 buttons have a makers or suppliers name on their obverse, and 9 have theirs on the reverse.
They have a combined weight of 76.6gms.
The Buttons were found by metal detecting over a period of time, from April 2005 - May 2020, from multiple locations in three different parishes, before the importance of recording where they were found was realised. (Hence the group vague r…

Only the front of the circular button face remains, which has remnants of its crimped edge. The back of the button is missing along with the attachment loop. A silver shilling coin of George V, AD 1910-1936, that has been altered. The centre of the flan has been removed and the inner edge of the cut pushed up from the reverse side to form a short open topped wide cone. On the outer side of the cone the obverse legend reads: GEORGIV[S V] DEI GRA : BRITT : OMN : REX. None of the obverse field design survives. A copper alloy Livery button dating to the Modern period, circa AD 1860-1900. The top half front of the button bears the Crest of a Wolf's head on a torse, facing left, jaws open. Below this, the initials J W. The face of the button has been silvered, while the crest and the initials have traces that they were separately gilded. On its reverse there is an oval suspension loop, circled by the manufacturers address:- Murphy. ( - a Crown), and then - Bride St, Dublin.

A complete copper-alloy Modern button of the Cambridgeshire Constabulary, manufactured circa : AD 1817 - 1848, by HEBBERT & Co of London.
The body of the button is made of two parts, the edge of the front curving over and overlapping the reverse forming an internal hollow. The front of the button was originally convexly curved however, is now concave due to damage which has compressed the front of the button. A milled silver five shillings or 'trade dollar' of George III, dating c.1804-1811. These coins were overstruck on worn Spanish 8 real pieces to make up for deficiency in British silver coinage. All bearing the date '1804' but were issued over 7 years before being re-valued at five shillings sixpence in 1811. They were withdrawn from circulation between 1817-1818.
