A fragment of Mesolithic flint blade, dating to c.AD 7000 - 2500 BC. The blade is made from a secondary flake of mid brown flint, the patination has mottled to a a pale brown on the outer edges. A small area of cortex remains it has a creamy patination. Small areas of retouch are visible along the edge. Length: 25.6 mm, Width: 17.8 mm, Thickness: 4.3 mm, Weight: 2.09 g

A complete Mesolithic flint implement, dating to c. 8000 BC - 4000 BC. The implement has been made from a secondary flake, 20% of the dorsal face is covered with an area of cream/brown cortex. A complete flint Scraper of Mesolithic to Neolithic date (9,000-2100 BC). The object is sub-rectangular in plan and concavo-convex in section. The dorsal surface contains three predominant negative scars. Both the proximal and distal ends are abruptly blunted. The left- and right-hand edges have rough semi-abrupt retouch. The ventral surface is concave. The lithic retains no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake. Length: 38.27mm, Width: 13.86mm, Thickness: 6.47mm, Weight: 3.0g The flint is light brown and cream in colour.

The burin is made of a tertiary flake of brown flint with a low gloss patina, the majority of the object has patinated to an off white pale blue. The tool is broadly sub-triangular in plan and trapezoidal in cross section. The front face of the blade (dorsal face) has a number of areas of small retouch along both edges.
