A flint core of Mesolithic to early Neolithic date c. 9000-3300 BC. The core is conical with a single hard hammered striking platform with a pronounced bulb of percussion and a large area of cortex remaining. There are four unidirectional long blade removals around the core,two with hinged terminations.  The flint is transluscent grey in colour. Dimensions: length: 48.2mm; width: 39.7mm; height: 39.1mm and weight: 50.59g.  This core was found in scattered spread of flint finds; see: SUSS-793E72 and SUSS-66C0E8

An assemblage of 7 incomplete struck flint blades (debitage) representing multiple periods of activity from the Mesolithic to early Neolithic periods c. 9000 BC - 3300 BC. The assemblage is composed of tertiary flakes; all of different shades of opaque black, opaque and translucent grey and translucent yellow. None show evidence of retouch. A complete flint Mesolithic to early Neolithic blade dating c. 9000 - 3000BC. The blade is struck from dark brown flint with a sub-triangular cross-section. I has a low bulb of percussion and shallow rippling on the ventral surface. There is a small area of cortex on the dorsal surface. There is no evidence of retouch.  Measurements: 57.05mm; width: 15.69mm; thickness: 7.12mm and weight: 6.61g.

A Mesolithic flint tranchet axe/adze or 'Thames pick' dating c. 9000-4000 BC. The pick is an irregular, elongated pointed oval shape in plan with a broadly lozengiform in cross section, and flake removals with minimal rippling present on all sides. A triangular flint blade struck from a dark brown flint, 52.1mm in length. The blade expands towards the distal end where there is a break. A flint blade or flake of probable Mesolithic to Neolithic date (c. 7000 BC - 3300 BC). It is a tertiary flake as no cortex remains with a transverse break at one end. Two long, narrow, parallel flakes have been removed from the dorsal face. There is one small, sub-triangular flake scar also present at the distal end of the dorsal face. There are strong conchoidal ripple marks evident on the ventral surface.The flint is translucent and mottled grey in colour. Measurements: length: 28.49mm; width: 12.72mm; weight: 1.0g.

An incomplete flint core tool, 126mm in length, made from a dark blue-black flint which has white recortication from prolonged burial in calcareous sediments. The tool has a trapezoidal cross section and has been shaped by hard-hammer working.
