An incomplete flint core tool, 126mm in length, made from a dark blue-black flint which has white recortication from prolonged burial in calcareous sediments. The tool has a trapezoidal cross section and has been shaped by hard-hammer working. The tip has broken off, possibly during use; consequently it isn't clear if the tool is a Mesolithic tranchet adze or a Neolithic pick.
