A sherd from a pottery vessel of probable late medieval to early post-medieval in date. The sherd is a rim and body sherd from a wheel thrown pot, probably a storage jar. The sherd has been glazed with a dark brown/black lead glaze and decorated with three raised circular dots created by stamping. The fabric is orange in colour with minimal inclusions, apparently of shell and grog. It measures 44.64 mm in length, 38.67 mm wide, 12.86 mm thick and weighs 23.9 grams.

A sherd from a pottery vessel of probable late medieval to early post-medieval in date. The sherd is a body sherd from a wheel thrown pot which has been decorated with horizontal ridges. The fabric is dark brown in colour and tempered with fine shell or calcite grit inclusions. It measures 61.85 mm in length, 47.9 mm wide, 10.7 mm thick and weighs 48.9 grams.

A wheelthrown ceramic vessel sherd of medieval date, probably dating from the 13th to 14th centuries. The sherd is from the base of a vessel, with a small amount of the vessel wall remaining also. The sherd is decorated with a green lead glaze on the exterior whilst the interior is unglazed. Wheel marks are visble on the interior of the base of the vessel sherd.

Two ceramic tiles. One is probably a floor tile, the other is less certain and may possibly be a roof tile. The floor tile is sub-square in shape although it may be broken on one edge. It measures 84.5 mm long and 83 mm wide and is 20.5 mm thick. It weighs 244.5 grams. It is undecorated. The other tile is incomplete and measures 99 mm long, 70 mm wide and 13 mm thick. A medieval ceramic patterned floor tile of 14th to 15th century in date. The tile is decorated with a white clay slip which has been poured into a pattern created by a wooden stamp. The tile was then fired after being sprinkled with a lead ore, which had produced a slightly uneven yellow glaze. The ceramic itself is of a solid orange red/colour and also has traces of a lead glaze on the reverse. The tile is incomplete, with approximately one quarter missing from one end. Eleven ceramic wheel-thrown glazed vessel body sherds, dating to the Medieval perod, between AD 1200 – 1500 (varying thickness: 4.5 – 12mm; collective weight: 85.0g).Most of these vessel sherds have a hard-fired and roughly textured fabric, which is either light orange or light grey in colour. All of these sherds have a small amount of glaze remaining on one side of them, which is light/ dark green or light/ dark brown in colour. Most of the sherds also have numerous small quartz and grit inclusions in their fabric. Overall, the sherds are in a worn and poor condition.

Three wheel-thrown ceramic probable Midlands Purple sherds (two body sherds and one rim sherd), probably dating between the late 14th/ 15th century, between AD 1350 – 1500 (varying thickness from 4.5 – 10.5mm; collective weight: 37.3g).The fabric of these sherds consists of an iron-rich clay containing common fine quartz grains, occasional larger quartz grains and rare to moderate subrounded iron ore fragments. One handmade ceramic floor tile fragment, dating to the Medieval period, between AD 1200 – 1500 (63.5mm x 38.5mm; thickness: 29mm; weight: 68.4g).This floor tile fragment has an orange/red coloured, hard-fired and roughly textured fabric with the remains of an off-white or shell coloured glaze. Additionally, there are numerous quartz and grit inclusions in the fabric. Overall, the fragment is in a worn but fair condition.

A ceramic wheel-thrown rim and neck sherd, probably dating to the Medieval period (49mm x 40.3mm; thickness: 12.9mm; weight: 21.76g). This unglazed beige sherd has a very gritty and hard-fired fabric with a particularly sandy and micaceous surface. The sherd’s thickness deceases as the sherd continues down to what would have been the main body of the vessel. The sherd is in a slightly worn but fair condition.

There are two jug fragments with stabbing decoration. Six body sherds, ten base sherds. One of these base sherds has roulette decoration and another thumbing. Finally there are 23 rim sherds. The sand quantity varies from sherd to sherd. The sherds are heavily abraded.

The sherds are two rim fragments and a body sherd. Both rims are a '¬' shape in rofile with rounded outer edge. The fabric is a mottled red/brown coloured fabric on the surfaces with a lighter coloured cores. The inclusions are frequent quartz like with a red stone, and mica.
