A complete copper alloy bullion weight, of Post-Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1816). The weight is circular and bears marks of value on each face. These comprise the letters D/XXX and indicate the weight was used to weigh silver bullion of 30 pence or one halfcrown. A five petalled flower stamp is present beneath XXX. It has a diameter of 22.4 mm and is 4.4 mm thick. It weighs 12.6 g. This is a bullion weight for silver bullion to a value of one halfcrown (30 pence). A cast copper alloy coin weight. The weight is circular in plan and rectangular in section with rounded corners. The weight is uniface, decorated with a heavily abraded ship, any other detail is unclear. The weight has patches of a matte mid green patina. It measures 17.31mm diameter, 3.86mm thick and weighs 5.4g. The use of round weights with representations of a ship were used in the 15th century and 16th centuries (Withers P. & B.R. Lions, Ships and Angels Galata Print. Powys p. 18). This weight is possibly for a ryal.

A cast copper alloy uniface sub-circular coin weight. The design on the upper surface is possibly that of Archangel Michael spearing a dragon. The weight has an abraded surface and the details of the design is not clear. It measures 16.85mm diameter, 4.19mm thick and weighs 7g. The coin weight is possibly that of an angel which were produced between 1495 and 1588 AD (Biggs, N. 1990 'Coin-Weights in England' British Numismatics Journal Volume 60, pp. 65-79.).

A complete cast copper alloy coin weight, dating to the Post Medieval period, between AD 1600 - 1800 (15mm x 14.5mm; thickness: 3mm; weight: 5.0g). The coin weight is a slightly uneven square in plan and flat in section. The artefact is irregularly stamped on both sides with four dots. The artefact is in a slightly worn but fair condition.
