A complete gold mourning finger ring, of probable Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800). The hoop is slightly misshapen and is no longer circular in shape. The hoop is D shaped in cross section. The exterior of the hoop has been engraved with a pictoral device. This device consists of two engraved saltires with rounded ends. Between the saltires is a sub rectangular recessed section. Description: A silver-gilt dress-pin consisting of a spherical head and near-complete shaft, most probably of post-Medieval date. The point of the shaft appears to have broken off. A cast copper alloy Post-Medieval toggle. The object consists of body which is pointed oval in plan and broadly oval in section, attached on one side to a transverse, straight stem which terminates in a double loop, presumably for attachment. The stem in broadly rectangular in section. There are raised circular collars around the perforations of the double loop. A contemporary forgery of a silver struck/ hammered Commonwealth halfgroat, dating between 1649-1660 AD. The coin is poorly engraved and struck with a crudely cut die. Additionally, the two slightly interlocking shields of St. George and the Irish harp on the coin's reverse are the wrong way round.
