A Post-Medieval to Modern possible boss from a brooch or other piece of jewellery, possibly dating to circa AD 1850 - 1950. The object is oval in form and consists of a gold fitting with central probable glass convex setting. The glass is a burgundy/purple colour. Surrounding the glass setting is a gold surround with a twisted rope like border, there is a further twisted rope like surround that is narrower at the external edge. A complete gold inscribed finger ring, of probable 16th to 17th Century AD dating. The finger ring was originally found flattened but has been restored by the finder to a circular shape. The exterior of the finger ring has a ridge top and bottom with an inscription between the two ridges. The inscription reads: +DAME IOHNE MYLBORNE, presumily originally belonging to the wife of John Mylborne. The finger ring has a width of 7.0 mm and the hoop is 1.5 mm thick. Gold, Post Medieval, Half Guinea of William III (AD 1694 - AD 1702) dating to the year 1695. The obverse shows the laureate head of the king facing right and reads GVLIELMVS III DEI GRA. The reverse shows four shields at the four cardinal points, with an undecorated sceptre in each quarter and a lion rampant (Lion of Nassau?) in the centre. The legend reads MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX 1695. Mint: London. Spink No 3466, page 343. Coin has been bent - probably damaged whilst in the plough soil. Diameter: 20 mm Thickness: 0.9 mm Weight: 3.4 g.

A complete gold mourning finger ring, of probable Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800). The hoop is slightly misshapen and is no longer circular in shape. The hoop is D shaped in cross section. The exterior of the hoop has been engraved with a pictoral device. This device consists of two engraved saltires with rounded ends. Between the saltires is a sub rectangular recessed section. A complete gold dental plate of late Post-Medieval to modern date. The plate has one straight edge and one ridged which would fit between remaining teeth. A flattened panel is present onto which the false teeth would have been fitted. Three semi-circular loops are also present, two of which extend from either end of the plate with a third smaller one slightly to one side. These would have secured the dental plate around the existing teeth, presumably in this case around the lower second molars and a canine.
