Two fragments from post-medieval clay pipes. It is uncertain whether they are from the same pipe. One is a stem fragment, 11.8 mm in diameter with a bore hole of 1.6 mm. The second fragment includes the stem, which has a diameter of 12.2 mm and a bore hole of approximately 2 mm in diameter. This fragment has a small portion of the bowl remaining which rises abruptly from a long pointed spur which is slightly forward projecting. The presence of this spur and the relationship it has with the bowl suggests that the pipe is probably of mid-18th century in date.

Four sherds from what is probably an 18th century drinking vessel, probably a mug. Three of the sherds appear to be Staffordshire 'mottled ware', and have a dark brown lead glaze. Two of these have lateral ribbed decoration and fit together so are clearly part of the same vessel. A third lacks the ribbed decoration but probably also formed part of the same vessel. A fourth sherd has similar ribbed decoration and has a brown mottled glaze, although this is paler and so is probably from a different vessel. It is possibly also Staffordshire 'mottled ware', but may possibly have been over…

A large base and body sherd from a post-medieval ceramic mug. The broken sherd is semi-circular at the base indicating that the base was once circular and would have had a diameter of 71 mm. The remains of the mug measure 39 mm high. The bottom of the mug is unglazed but the interior and upper part of the body have a mottled brown lead glaze and the mug may have be of Staffordshire 'mottled ware'. It is likely to date to the early part of the 18th century, from circa 1700-1720 AD.
