An incomplete copper alloy probable toggle dating from the late Iron Age to early Roman period (c.50BC-AD100).
The object has a rounded and bulbous central body,which tapers at either end into waisted sections before terminating in a pair of worn rounded ends ,a raised collar can be seen at one end..From one side of the central part of the toggle projects the stumps of a now broken attachment loop. The object is very worn and there is no evidence of any decoration.

An incomplete copper alloy toggle fastener from the late iron age to early Roman period (BC200-AD100).
The object is cylindrical in overall shape with a raised central section, 10.91mm wide, which gently narrows towards each end, both of which flare into rounded terminals. On the central section there is a raised decoration which cannot be determined exactly due to corrosion. On one side of the central section there is possibly a circular cell which may have been enamelled and on the surface opposite this decoration there is a very worn rounded attachment loop.

Fragment of a copper alloy simple terret ring dating to the Late Iron Age/Early Roman period (AD 43 -150). The curved fragment has broadly circular section which expands in diameter from one end to the other from a diameter of 7.20mm to 10.11mm. At each end there is a circular collar-formed terminal. At the small diameter end the collar has a diameter of 8.45mm, while at the large diameter end the collar is 12.17mm. There is a single knop approximately a third of the way along the fragment, closets to the thickest diameter of the object.

An incomplete and worn cast copper alloy of uncertain use, possibly a furniture fitting or escutcheon, of uncertain date.
Possibly originally oval in plan, the object has a flat plate at the back. The front face has a protruding 'beaklike' boss, bissected by a groove with a small hole through top to bottom.There is an indentation or lip below the boss across the plate. There is heavy corrosion and a darkish green/grey patina.
The object is 56.15mm in length and 31.07mm wide, weighing 44.6g.

An incomplete copper alloy looped toggle, probably late Iron Age/early Roman c BC350 - AD100.
It is round sectioned with flat ends; the solid cylindrical body is narrower at the base than nearer the loop.The ends are decorated with circular terminal indentations. Each terminal is about 7.38mm in diameter with a thickened, rounded rim and central raised dot; it is possible, if compared to others, that there may have been inlay/decoration in this space. Iron Age strap fitting consisting of three linked 'petal bosses' each containing an annular setting surrounded by a deep groove. In the centre of each setting is a ring of what appears to white champlevé enamel surrounding a circular setting containing pale green glass. Between the petal bosses is a 'muzzle' motif which expands from a 'plump' to a 'slender' form. Beneath the muzzle is a rectangular plate one edge of which is grooved. A copper-alloy strap fitting of Late Iron Age date (300 BC - AD 43). The object is composed of a flat disk with an integral rectangular attachment loop on the upper edge of the back face of the object, projecting at 90 degrees to the disk. A complete copper alloy toggle of Late Iron Age to Roman date (100 BC- AD 100). The object is a dumbbell type and is composed of two integral hemispherical terminal joined by a central circular shaft.
Similar examples can be seen on the Portable Antiquities Database: YORYM-19E0A8, SWYOR-72CC15A, NARC-4C2B74 and NCL-DD6E92
The metal is a dark brown in colour with a smooth and a predominantly uncorroded patina.

The upper half of a Late Iron Age or Roman beehive rotary quernstone. The quernstone is of the Yorkshire or unpierced type. The quernstone has a flat, circular base and is cone shaped. There is a central hole which widens towards the top. On the side of the quernstone, there are two circular handle slot, one lower than the other. The lower slot is older than the upper and such an arrangement is not uncommon on beehive querns. The quernstone measures 225mm in height and has a maximum circumference of 300mm.
Beehive rotary querns tend to found on Late Iron Age and early Roman settlement sites.
