Obverse: Bird standing right on a cross pattée; small cross (?) before; annulets either side of the cross; within a beaded serpent circle (the serpent's mouth at 6 o'clock); vestigial legend in margin. Reverse: Crude diademed head right, within a beaded circle; vestigial legend in margin. The coin has a diameter of 12.00mm, a thickness of 1.70mm and a weight of 1.17 grams.

A worn and abraded uninscribed early-medieval silver sceat of series U type 23d, dating to the period c. 710-735.  Obverse standing figure holding long cross in each hand. Reverse Linear bird facing right on branch with berries above bird reverse type. The coin has a diameter of 11.8mm, it is 1.6mm thick and it weighs 0.94 grams. An example of this type of coin is illistrated in Abramason (2012) p. 57 and examples on the portable antiquities database include FAJN-943495 and KENT-24604C

An early-Medieval silver sceat Series E, variety A dating to the period c. AD 700-765. Obverse shows a quilled, serpent headed crescent coiled right enclosing cross pommeé, a chevron and annulet, there may also be the beginnings of further decorations in the corners, possibly a tuffa. Reverse, degenerate TOTII in beaded standard, cross at side, central pellet. The coin has a diameter of 11.55mm, it is 1.6mm thick and it weighs 0.73 grams. There are a number of examples of this series on the database including HAMP-7FBB5A, OXON-2A683D, SOM-00A346 and HAMP-BB5A7C.

An Early Medieval silver early penny (sceat) of the Secondary Phase 'Triquestras' group (BMC type 52; Naismith Series TRd), dating to c AD720-30, mint unknown. Refs: Naismith 2017: table 4, pl. 13 nos 396-7; Gannon 2013: 118-19, pl. 515-17, especially 517. The coin is in poor condition, much of the design encrusted and corroded. However the characteristic wreath ties either side of the face are visible as is the tightly curved shoulders formed of lines and pellets.
