Obverse: Wodan head with splayed hair, long moustache, pellets in neat W shaped beard, cross either side. Beaded rim Reverse: Crested monster of Series N, type 41, in flight, left looking back. with raised trefoil tail, claws below, pellet outline. Beaded rim.

Early Medieval sceat, Series E, variety L, dating to 700-765AD. The coin is incomplete; a small piece is missing due to an old break. The obverse shows a plumed bird facing right with a tubular body, head bent down, triple-forked tail, prominent claws, with a pellet in annulet below the head and a pellet in the field. The reverse has a beaded standard with pellet in annulets centrally and in corners separated by trefoils, with a cross above. Matches closely E320 in Abramson, T Sceattas - an Illustrated Guide.
