A silver pfennig of Heinrich II (1014 - 1024) or Conrad I (1024 - 1039). Issued in the German states, minted at Worms. On the obverse is a pedimented building or church with a large pellet inside the lower part. The pediment is divided in two by a central vertical line and there is a small pellet in each half. On the reverse is an equal-armed cross with expanded ends, a single pellet in each quarter.

An early-medieval cut halfpenny of Aethelred II (978 - 1016), 'Last Small Cross' type (c.AD1009-17; North 777), mint and moneyer uncertain (possibly Aelfgar at Tamworth. Ref: North 1994: 160-1).
The bust style (only the back of the head visible) belongs to North's (1994: 161) 'West Midlands' type. The reverse inscription [ ]LFGAR ON[ ] is most likely to represent the moneyer Aelfgar at the mint in Tamworth.

An Early Medieval Silver sceat, dating to 720 - 725. Series M sceat. On the obverse a sinuous animal standing right; head tilted backwards, pointed ear, long tongue extending downards from open mouth; one front and one hind leg visible, both bent at 90 degrees; curved tail extending upwards from back, pellet within curve; six pellets beneath animal; circular pellet border surrounding. On the reverse are spiral ornamented vines and leaves.
