Incomplete copper alloy socketed axehead of probable Late Bronze Age date, c. 1300-700 BC. The artefact is the blade of the axe and consists of a broadly curved cutting edge with sides that flare out to reveal a hollow interior cavity. The artefact is sub-trapezoidal in plan. The broken edges are transverse to the cutting edge and are uneven, but all edges are abraded and chipped. The artefact has a powdery green patina.
