An incomplete copper-alloy notched-butt Lisburn dirk, knife, from the Penard phase of the Bronze Age period (1300-1140 BC). The object is in two parts, the blade has a narrow lozenge cross-sectioned, thickening towards the hilt end, the break is approximately at the midpoint of the bade and is transverse and abraded. The tip of the blade is trained and is slightly rounded. It has a pronounced oval midrib that is solid and runs to the point of the spear with narrow wings of the blade to either side. The break is ancient and highly abraded.
