A fragment of a copper alloy blade, probably from a sword dating to the late Bronze Age period, c. AD 1000-800 BC. The fragment is from the blade section of the sword and is sub-rectangular in profile and lenticular in section. There is a broad, convex-surfaced mid-rib, flanked by a pair of vertical grooves on both faces.   The fragment narrows slightly in width and thickness from one transverse break to the other. An incomplete flint arrowhead of the barbed and tang type, dating from the later Neolithic to early Bronze Age. (BC2700-1000). Probably a Beaker Type, 'Sutton b' (See: Green 1980, Fig 45h). The arrrowhead is sub triangular in shape with slightly convex sidesone barb is incomplete.Both faces have been worked with covering, scaled and low-angle retouch.One surface is more convex due to the working of the flint.The core of the flint is of a dark grey colouring with some almost white patches. An incomplete copper alloy socketed side-looped spearhead. Davis Group 5 “Wide blade” dating to the earlier Middle Bronze Age (c. 1550-1250 BC). The socket is oval in shape, measuring 19.2mm by 17.3mm. The aperture diameter is 16.9mm. The socket wall is 1.4mm thick. The socket narrows to 12.5mm at the point where the blade wings start. A fragment of a copper alloy Late Bronze Age socketed axehead (c.1150 - 800 BC). Only a fragment of the axehead has survived, broken transversely across the blade. The blade edge is curved. It is hollow and measures 19.3mm from the tip to the  the broken edge, 37.1mm across the blade and 10.9mm thick.  The thickness of the metal at the blade tip is 8.8mm.  It weighs 17.7g.  The surface is dark green and smooth, but about 50% of the original surface is missing, due to corrosion and damage, leaving a ligher green rough surface with some large pits…

A flint core of probable late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date, circa 2500 - 1500 BC. The core is sub-triangular in plan, with an irregular cross section It is pale grey in colour with paler inclusions. There is a triangular patch of buff coloured cortex to the ventral side. Both the dorsal and ventral sides have numerous flakes removed from a number of different striking platforms and percussion points. A section of corroded copper alloy blade of probable Middle Bronze Age 1500-1150BC. The surviving fragment is rectangular in form, pointed oval in section with distortion along the length. It is 94.94mm in length, 19.49mm in width and 6.01mm thick. It weighs 41.4g. There is a pronounced central spinal ridge. An incomplete flint barbed and tanged arrowhead dating to the Early Bronze Age, c. 2500 to 1500 BC. The object is triangular in plan with two notches removed from one side to create the barbs and tang although on barb has broken off. The spur from the broken barb appears to have been retouched. Invasive, scaled retouch at a low angle present on both sides of the object. The flint is mottled white and grey. The object is 19.46 mm in length 18.19 mm wide and 3.86 mm thick. The object weighs 1.0g.
