A cast bronze (copper-alloy) pegged spear (spearhead) and ferrule of Late Bronze Age date. The spearhead is complete; however, it is in three joining fragments (the tip, mid-section and socket) due possibly to recent breaks. This is suggested as the breaks do not have a well-developed patina. The spearhead has a leaf-shaped blade that is lozenge shaped in section with a prominent mid rib. This midrib expands into the socket of the spear. The blade tapers to a sharp pointed tip. The socket has a singular circular peg hole which is located close where the blade begins to curve outwards.…

An incomplete copper alloy (bronze) blade, probably from a palstave of Middle Bronze Age dating (c. 1500 BC to c. 1150 BC). The blade fragment is triangular in both shape and cross section. Only the lower portion of the blade is present, it has broken below the stop ridge. The sides are concave. The cutting edge is lost, but it still retains a convex form. The palstave fragment measures 61.8 mm in length, 41.8 wide (at the blade), 24.8 mm wide (at the break), 16.7 mm thick (at the break) and 6.0 mm thick (at the blade). It weighs 144.8 g. An incomplete barbed and tanged flint arrowhead of Early Bronze Age dating (c. 2500 BC to c. 1500 BC). Approximately 95% of the arrowhead is present, with one barb being incomplete. The arrowhead has been knapped from a mottled mid grey coloured piece of flint. It is broadly sub-triangular in plan and lentoid in cross section. The tang is a sub square shape and the surviving barb is sub triangular in plan. The arrowhead has been knapped using both direct and indirect percussion techniques. Both long sides / edges of the arrowhead have been finely retouched to create sharp edges. …

A broken copper-alloy socketed arrowhead of Bronze Age date. The arrowhead is lozenge shaped in section although the wings are damaged and are almost completely missing. The tip is also broken and missing. The socketed end, also broken, has an aperture of 7.66 mm. The arrowhead tapers from 11 mm wide at the socketed end to 7.55 mm at the broken point. It measures 52.95 mm long and weighs 15 grams. It has a smooth grey patina with green corrosion in places, particularly at the breaks.

A worked flint tool, probably an early Bronze Age plano-convex knife. The striking platform is clearly visible where the blade was struck from its core, and there is a clear bulb of percussion and bulb scar on the ventral face of the flint, caused by the pressure when struck. The flint has been subject to invasive pressure flaking on the dorsal face, although this does not extend to cover the whole face and is limited to the tip and edges of the flint. A complete cast bronze Irish ingot style flat axehead, dating to the Early Bronze Age, between 2150 - 1500 BC (length: 114.5mm; width near blade edge: 61mm; thickness: 9mm; weight: exceeds weight limit of scales). The axehead is sub-triangular in plan and convex in section. The blade's cutting edge is worn and, overall, the artefact is in a worn and poor condition with pitting on the surface and none of the original patina remaining.

A complete knapped flint barbed and tanged arrowhead (length: 21.9mm; width: 16mm; thickness: 5mm; weight: 1.09g), dating to the Bronze Age between c2200-900 BC. The arrowhead has been extensively re-touched on the surface, particularly along the edges. The high density areas of barbed and tanged arrowheads are virtually identical to the earlier leaf arrowheads, including areas around Norfolk, the North East coast and around the south west and Oxfordshire. This arrowhead cannot be closely matched to those classified by Green (1980).

A slightly incomplete and broken hollow-based arrowhead (length: 22.3mm; width: 19.4mm; thickness: 3.4mm; weight: 1.28g), probably dating between 2500-1400 BC. The arrowhead has been extensively knapped with areas of re-touch along the egdes. One of the barbs is slightly incomplete, but it is difficult to identify whether this is a recent break.Many of these arrowheads appear in Ireland and the distributional evidence suggests that some of those found in Britain were either imports from Ireland or local copies. The object is a portion of a possible spearhead. The object, in plan, is an elongated sub-triangular shape, however the tip is missing, and the lower edge is irregular. A circular socket runs through the centre of the object, gradually tapering. The cross-section of the upper edge is a sub-lozenge shape, the mid point has a circular socket with a slender triangular protrusion on each side visible in the cross-section. The protrusions are the blades which are abraded and slender in width. The surface of the object is slightly pitted, but has developed a dark green patina.
