Early medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) copper alloy bell, 28mm in length, 26mm wide and 15mm thick with a weight of 7.41grams. The object is triangular in form and hexagonal in cross section and is incomplete. It is missing its apex, clapper and part of its lower edge. The object is formed of six triangular panels and those which are complete have a concave lower edge, forming points at each corner.
This type of bell is described as a 'Norse' bell because of their association with Scandinavian sites and date to the period 900-1100. Similar examples include NLM-0A3A38 LIN-C65B75.

Early medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) copper alloy bell 31mm high, 20mm wide and weighing 7 grams. The bell is triangular in form and hexagonal in cross section. It has an integral rectangular loop at its apex and has concave semi-circular lower edges which run down into the angles and each face is decorated with two incised ring and dot motifs near the angle, 3.5mm wide,
These objects are considered Scandinavian colonial objects as they are only found in in the Danelaw Schoenfelder & Richards (2011, 162; fig. 4a)
