A Post-Medieval horseshoe dating 1600 to 1700AD. The horshoe is a worn and corroded keyhole type horseshoe with equal branches and the heels inclined. Due to corrosion deposits no nail holes are evident and is probably a draught shoe. The length is 135mm, the width is 143mm.

A corroded and encrusted tongue or dove type horseshoe of circa 1650-1700. The horseshoe is 'U' shaped and of flat section There are three nail holes to each branch, with three corroded nails in situ, one of which appears to be of the square-headed type.The heels are quite even in length, with one thickened and the other drawn to a point, which is similar to the Dove type shoe, as is the nail arrangment. A copper alloy end cap from a knife dating to the Post Medieval period (c. 1500-c. 1600 AD). The cap takes the form of a stylised horse's hoof. It is sub-oval in crosssection and curves throughout its length. Three circumferential grooves are located across the body of the cap; one at the top, one at the bottom and one in the centre which extend c. three quarters around the width. A complete Early Neolithic flint scraper, possibly a horshoe type. The scraper is long and broad leaf shape, with a triangular cross section. The ventral surface is flat and has a bulb of percussion with radiating ripples. It has retouch along all edges is mostly unifacial with very minimal bifacial retouch along two edges. The dorsal surface retains some of the original cortex. The flint is light to dark gray and is not very opaque. It is 69.02 mm L x 33.76 mm W x 16.04 mm TH. It weighs 32.6 g.
