A socketed wrought iron terminal from a musket accessory (scourer) used to clean out debris from the interior of the barrel of a musket. The object has a circular cross section with a conical socket which gently tapers into a long shaft, the final 40% of which has a rectangular cross section and is split into two flat prongs. These end at a head which has flared, folded semi circular tips, 13.4mm in diameter which are folded at 90ยบ to the shaft. The terminal would have fit onto the end of a wooden ramrod of 8.5mm diameter.
