A fragment of a copper alloy early medieval (early Anglo-Saxon) cruciform brooch. Only the foot of the brooch survives with a well worn break across its upper end. This terminal of this is zoomorphic in decoration and slightly tapering towards the tip. The outer face of the terminal is decorated with a semi-circular moulding to either side of the tip producing the effect of nostrils and above this, at the widest point of the terminal, there is a pellet-like eye to either side. Fragment of middle Anglo-Saxon copper-alloy (bronze) brooch of Elmsett type (Weetch type 16). Originally cross-shaped, only one flaring arm now survives. It has concave sides to the arm, the more complete arm curving increasingly tightly around a cut-out which is therefore more oval than circular. The end of the arm is convex. The fragment has two circular holes; one is smaller (1.6mm diameter) and is in the centre of the arm within a reserved circle. A fragment of a cast copper alloy middle to late Bronze Age socketed spearhead. The blade is flame-shaped with a pronounced lozenge-shaped mid-rib extending to the tip. To either side the blade is flattened and slightly bevelled along both edges. Only a small part of the lozenged cross-sectioned inner socket survives. The metal is a dark-green in colour with a pitted and corroded patina. A complete enamelled copper alloy medieval harness mount. The mount its shield-shaped, its outer face decorated with three raised pierced cinquefoils against a red (gules) enamelled field. A square cross-sectioned attachment lug extends from the centre of the reverse of the mount. It consists a length of thick gold wire (now rather twisted and distorted) of circular section with a knopped globular terminal at each end. Identification is uncertain, although it is likely to be an item of personal adornment such as a bracelet.
