A fragment of a cast copper alloy middle to late Bronze Age socketed spearhead. The blade is flame-shaped with a pronounced lozenge-shaped mid-rib extending to the tip. To either side the blade is flattened and slightly bevelled along both edges. Only a small part of the lozenged cross-sectioned inner socket survives. The metal is a dark-green in colour with a pitted and corroded patina.
Without the full socket the object cannot be further assigned to a type and only a broad mid to late Bronze Age date can be suggested. The object is small in size, but not unusually so for a spearh…

Head and part of shaft from a copper-alloy cup-headed pin. The head is circular, 15 mm in diameter, and is 5 mm thick, with a 2 mm deep recess in the top and a rounded underside. The recess has a pale green encrustation and its sides are crudely grooved, as if to key it for an inlay. The shaft is not quite central to the head; it is oval in cross-section and tapers from 3 x 4 mm at the top to 2 x 1 mm at the old break, where it may have worn thin.
