Incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch of the Polden  Hill variety, of Mackreth 2011, CD PH, 4. a-b. The brooch is missing the lower portion of the bow including the catch plate and the pin. The wings and axis bar are present but the spring is partially degraded. The head of the brooch survives with a width of 19mm. The crossbar and head are plain with only a raised disk design either side at the base of the wings. An  incomplete copper-alloy hooked tag of Post-Medieval date (AD 1500-1650). The object is composed of a sub-circular, cast openwork plate, with a rectangular attachment loop. The hook has broken and is missing. A cast copper alloy Modern horse harness pendant dating from AD 1800 - 1950. The plate is quatrefoil, seemingly un-decorated with chamfered edges. The surface of the pendant is abraided and shows signs of corrosion  A suspension loop projects from the top edge of the pendant. An incomplete early post medieval hook piece from a blunt hooked hook-and-eye-fastener dating from AD 1550 - 1700. It is of Read's Class A type 1. The clasp is cast in copper alloy with a moulded design in relief. The design consists of three concentric rings of raised pellets around a central cluster of pellets; the effect is that of a stylised flower. A complete but worn cast copper-alloy hooked bar-mount, probably a strap, harness or sword fitting dating from the Medieval period, about AD 1150 - 1500. The mount consists of a sub-rectangular plate with a forward facing hook projecting below. The plate is tapered slightly towards the top and chamfered, giving it a triangular cross-section. An incomplete copper alloy button and loop fastener of Wild (1970) Class IV, dating to the Roman period (AD 50 - AD 200). The head of the fastener is circular and domed, with a hollow reverse. The shank extends straight backwards from the reverse of the head, and bends at 90 degrees before forming a triangular attachment loop, now incomplete. A complete iron nail possibly associated with nearby finds dating to the early medieval period. The nail is very corroded with a thick layer of rust and soil which has multiple cracks in its surface.
