An incomplete corroded copper-alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date, around AD 75 - 175. The head is ovate with the stub of a central loop on the reverse. The spring and pin are missing. An  incomplete copper-alloy hooked tag of Post-Medieval date (AD 1500-1650). The object is composed of a sub-circular, cast openwork plate, with a rectangular attachment loop. The hook has broken and is missing. An incomplete early post medieval hook piece from a blunt hooked hook-and-eye-fastener dating from AD 1550 - 1700. It is of Read's Class A type 1. The clasp is cast in copper alloy with a moulded design in relief. The design consists of three concentric rings of raised pellets around a central cluster of pellets; the effect is that of a stylised flower. An incomplete cast copper-alloy headstud brooch of Roman date (AD 75 - 200). The object remains as the head, axis bar, incomplete bow, and spring assembly. The head has the remains of a forward-facing hook which would once have held the chord. The wings are very small.  Behind them are the remains of a copper alloy axis bar or sleeve and spring of six turns, of which five survive. A complete but worn cast copper-alloy hooked bar-mount, probably a strap, harness or sword fitting dating from the Medieval period, about AD 1150 - 1500. The mount consists of a sub-rectangular plate with a forward facing hook projecting below. The plate is tapered slightly towards the top and chamfered, giving it a triangular cross-section. A complete copper alloy single loop, D-shaped buckle of Meols type 4, dating from AD 1350 - 1400. It has a bevelled frame, broadened at the outer edge which has a lip and a central pin notch. There is a narrowed and offset pin bar, The pin remains in place and is of circular section copper alloy wire, wrapped around the pin bar at the inner end. The buckle has a smooth,dark green patina. An incomplete copper alloy button and loop fastener of Wild (1970) Class IV, dating to the Roman period (AD 50 - AD 200). The head of the fastener is circular and domed, with a hollow reverse. The shank extends straight backwards from the reverse of the head, and bends at 90 degrees before forming a triangular attachment loop, now incomplete. The padlock is of a circlar shape with two smaller circular lobes projecting form the top where the shackle would have hinged. On one face of the lock there is a rectangular raised vertical panel, possibly for decoration, with three vertical incised grooves along it.The keyhole is obscured by corrosion.
