An incomplete copper alloy disc brooch, probably Roman and a British plate brooch dating from AD 150- 250. It is also possibly an Early Medieval applied saucer brooch, but it is smaller than most examples. Assuming it to be Roman, it would have had an applied repousse disc on the front, but this is missing. The upper surface of the circular brooch is uneven. Less than half of the disc survives. A broken copper-alloy strap end of Early-Medieval date, about AD 750 - 950. The strap end is of Thomas' Class A, probably Type 1 with a Trewhiddle style design and a zoomorphic terminal. The strap end is sub-ovate with a zoomorphic terminal at the closed end. The attachment end is missing. The central design appears to be curvilinear interlace with traces of niello, but it is corroded making it difficult to decipher. A large, copper alloy, annular buckle of Medieval date, about AD 1350 - 1400. The frame is a plain circle, without decoration, broadly oval in cross-section. The pin consists of a tarpering strip of copper alloy, wrapped around the frame at one end and tapering to a blunt point at the other end. A piece of lead, roughly circular, into which a Conder halfpenny token has been pressed to leave an impression. It dates from AD 1787 - 1797 or later. It consists of a thin, sub-oval disc of lead alloy with an impression on one side of a bust facing right and some retrograde letters from the legend, all within a wire line circle. A partial coin. Part of a silver, long cross half penny. The coin is broken but not along the axis of the cross. The obverse is very worn and it is difficult to discern many details at all. There may be a quatrofoil initial marker. The reverse has three pellets between the arms of the cross, and the letters CIVI TAS are evident.
