Copper alloy vessel fragment. Cast vessel leg of thin rectangular section at the top, where it is broken, and expanded and thickened at a flat-based foot of wedge-shaped profile. Two shallow longitudinal grooves appear on the outer side of the leg; the back is flat. Traces of sorting, thicker on the outer side, suggest the vessel saw use on a hearth. A shard from the slightly everted rim of a cylindrical object vessel of estimated diameter 80mm with iron staining at the top; shattered at either side and along its lower edge. The pattern of catastrophic damage might point to a shard from an exploded anti-aircraft shell, which would be consistent with its suspected diameter. An incomplete copper-alloy rowel spur of Post-Medieval date, c.1600 – 1800AD. The spur consists of an ovate sectioned neck which splits to one end forming the rowel box. The rowel is now missing. The curved arms with a D-shaped section. Both arms have been bent and distorted, but each terminate with a pair of button-headed rivets. The spur has a mid-green patina and is worn. Iron strip, perhaps the blade from a knife. It is 120mm long and one end is encased in delaminating corrosion. Away from this end, it is generally around 19mm wide, with one edge straight and 3mm thick, tapering to the other edge which may represent the cutting edge. The end without the corrosion layers has the cutting edge curving up to meet the back of the blade in a rounded point. The corroded end is broken and has no evidence of a whittle tang. Fragment of late Iron Age copper-alloy D-shaped terret, now very corroded but perhaps originally enamelled. It has a sub-circular or slightly oval upright collar terminal 13.7mm wide, 12.1mm tall and 4.8mm thick. From one side of this projects a triangular-section upper ring, with a flat inner and an angled outer. On the other side of the collar, at its base, is a stub of the attachment bar which shows that this was rectangular-section, 6.5 x 3.4mm, and set vertically.
