A roughly squared piece of jet or similar black geological material, probably dating to the Roman period, c. AD 122-410. The 'jet' is sub-cuboid, missing one corner. The upper and lower faces are natural in appearance, having become removed from a larger piece by the natural cleaving of the rock, but two side faces are squared, suggesting that these were cut/shaped.

Post Medieval to Modern (19th to 20th century) worked stone fragment: the stone is heavily abraded marble and has two flat faces, one of which is engraved with lower case 'ar'. All the edges are broken. It measures 81.31mm long, 64.01mm wide, 25.99mm thick and 207g. This fragment is likely to be from a headstone or plaque dating to the 19th to 20th century.

So-called 'workbox'. Body formed from a folded cylinder of sheet copper alloy decorated with repousse dots of three bands of double rows around the body. The separate base has an internal flange and is held by rivets to the body. The base is decorated with repousse dot cross motif which is repeated on the lid. The cross is composed of triple rows of dots within a cordon of a double row of dots. The lid is hinged. The base and the lid are slightly domed. Diameter of lid 51mm.

A fragment of thin copper-alloy sheet, now roughly square (42 x 32.5 x 0.7 mm), with three of its four edges broken. The fragment is curved, and if the curve were extended, it would give a maximum diameter of 120 mm. The upper edge is the only original edge, and this is undecorated; below, the strip is decorated with repoussé dots arranged in pairs. There is a horizontal line of paired dots below the rim, and what is probably a lattice design below this. The dots are convex on the exterior and concave on the reverse. Probable copper alloy lid from an Anglo-Saxon workbox. The lid is circular thin sheet of copper alloy with a central hole, containing a suspension loop. The loop consists of a single oval strip of copper alloy looped over at the top, threaded through the hole and then splayed on the reverse to secure it to the lid. Attached to the suspension loop is another small strip of copper alloy looped through the suspension loop, perhaps forming the first link in a chain. A large iron bowl measuring 300mm in diameter with walls of 50mm high, and suffering from corrosion. Embedded within the corrosion are pebbles and rocks, and what appears to be part of a ceramic tile or drainage pipe. Some of these large, post-depositional inclusions maintain the integrity of the bowl's current outline. Within the bowl 11 small copper-alloy pins and pin fragments were found, along with an iron stud, pin, tack and possible nail. A short curved length of twisted gold wire. 8mm of wire at one end has not been twisted. Probably less than 100 years old. Non-destructive X-ray flourescence analysis of the surface indicated a gold content of 95-97%, silver content of 1-2%, the remainder being copper.
