A copper alloy Early Medieval coin; probably an irregular issue Styca dating from the ninth century. The moneyer is Eardwulf. The coin has a diameter of 14.5mm and is 1.3mm thick. It weighs 0.95g. The obverse legend does not make sense and the letters are badly formed. Although it is probably an irregular issue, it may be of Aethelred II, second reign.

An Anglo-saxon copper alloy styca from the kingdom of Northumbria. The moneyer is Eadwin, probably issued for Ethelred II's second reign but this is not certain. The reverse matches 2 other coins of Eadwin in Pirie's CKN (pl.LI nos. 2050 & 2056) but I cannot find a match for the obverse.

A base silver Northumbrian styca of Ethelred II, moneyer Monne. Earlier classification (Lyon 1956, Pagan 1973) would attribute this to Ethelred's 1st reign on the basis that Monne operated primarily in the 1st reign, but Pirie (CKN 1996) argues that it should be the 2nd reign on the basis of having central pellet motifs rather than the earlier cross motifs.
