Obverse: The bust of Mercury, facing right, within a fleur-de-lys and pellets border. Reverse: An imperial orb within a trefoil tressure, bordered by rosettes. The obverse has alternating crowns and lis arranged around a central 5-petalled rose. Most of the legend is missing, damaged or illegible but appears to be in a Gothic script. The reverse has the Imperial Orb within a treasure of three arches. There are three pairs of annulets around the tressure. The initial mark may be a crown. The legend is likely to be fictitious.
