A curved rim sherd from a vessel of middle Neolithic Peterborough ware. The exterior has impressed coiled shapes from tightly twisted cord and the inner edge of the rim has a band of impressed corded decoration. The fabric is flint tempered with frequent large sub angular flint clasts.

An early Neolithic leaf shaped arrowhead struck from a pale brown flint. The arrowhead is broadly "kite" shaped (cf. Butler (2005), p 123, Type 2) and bifacially worked, with both faces having patches of long, low-angle intrusive and covering pressure-flaked retouch to refine the distal point and reduce the bulbar scar at the proximal end. The cross section is lenticular.

A flint arrowhead of later Neolithic oblique type struck from a tertiary flake of brown flint, 34.4mm in length. The cross section is asymmetrical and triangular with a flat and a convex face. One long edge has retouch along what appears to be the line of a break to refine a blunted edge running to the sharp point. The base has long low angle sub parallel retouch and is slightly hollowed.

The object has a triangular plan with the bulb of percussion on one long side; this has been intentionally reduced with scaled semi-abrupt retouch. The broad end / cutting edge of the flake feathers from a tranchet removal but is not further retouched.

A grey flint end scraper of possible Neolithic date. The scraper is circular in plan and  ovate in section and has been re-worked with a soft-hammer touch around one long edge. The ventral side has a pronounced bulb of percussion and rippling suggesting hard hammer working, and the dorsal side has been worked all around its edge, also with prominent ripples present.

Fine-grained Limestone saddle quern. A neat sub-rectangular block of stepped wedge-shaped profile, worn on its upper surface with a flat base which is indented only at its thicker end. The form is Neolithic, and a saddle quern would be used with a separate cobble grinding stone to grind corn to a coarse flour, and hence marks the advent of arable farming in the area whence it was reported. A heavy butted Neolithic fully ground and polished flint axe, of white patinated flint with a slightly grey inclusions to one face, all surfaces have both spotty iron stains and streaks from contact with agricultural machinery. A flint 'Thames pick' of Mesolithic date, 154.5mm in length, struck from a long flint pebble or nodule of dark grey flint. The proximal end / butt end of the tool retains its light brown cortex and the cross section of the tool appears to follow the original sub rounded profile of the nodule, with only the front portion being worked with hard hammered removals. The cutting edge is wedge shaped and appears to have some use-related damage; originally the tip may have been shaped with one or more tranchet removals but these are no longer particularly clear.
